Nice excuse to go down to Byron for this one…. On your way drop in to Brunswick Rock wall. Really gotta be careful fishin off the rocks at this place as its very choppy. We used moss off the rocks to try and catch a black fish here. This was one of the funnest days we have ever had fishing. We reeled in a 27cm bream here using salty mullet as bait but just as we got it up on to the rocks it fell in between the cracks of two rocks. We weren’t letting this one be the one that got away Sarah had to get down into the handstand position putting her whole body between these cracks while Evelyn held her by the feet. A nice local fishermen showed us how to gut our very first fish here and told us we are going places and one day he will see us in a fishing mag We watched the sun go down beer in hand and slept in the van that night on the side of the road. Next day we were up at the crack of dawn watching the sunrise at Byron…. That’s livin Barry.
