This place is absolutely amazing down in Gold Coast hinterland. We stopped at NSW/QLD Border signs and took some pics and Sarah handstanded in human poo HAHA day made.

We first stopped at Natual Bridge which was a short walk from the car park and clearly signed. There are toilet facilities here and if you really waned I reckon you could sleep in ya camper van in the carpark here. We were hoping to find some glow worms here but no luck. Beautiful walk, lots of rainforest and the natural bridge is quite a sight! Its also very loud if theres a lot of water flowing.
We had never been down in this part before so we got a little lost and ended up 30km in the middle of nowhere but helped a young man on the side of the road who we drove past and seen smoke coming from the engine. We helped him cut the belt to his air con and on his way he went.

We aimed to do Warrie Circuit which is about a 17km hike but realized by the time we got there we wouldn’t have enough time before sundown. It starts getting dark around 4pm and due to not doing the track before and cutting it short for time we decided we would try this one next time. Our big tip here is make sure you research exactly where your hiking and that you have enough time before sundown and take into consideration not knowing the area very well etc. We also were not packed for overnight, we had jet boil, cooking equipment in backpacks but little warm clothing. This is something we both realized is a big thing in hiking is having not only enough water, food but enough warm clothes. Even though it may seem hot when you begin the hike the weather and terrain can change very quickly. The temperature out here is a lot colder than in suburbs and most of the day we had long sleeve on/jumpsuit. We stepped off on twin falls circuit which was 4km instead and had lunch under a waterfall which was amazing. This one was a loop circuit where you start at Goomoolahra falls and can either go left or right, both ways will loop back around to this starting point. Make sure you have some good hiking boots for this one as ground can get very slippery and harder to climb over stuff with little grip on shoes. This hike was overall quite easy and a good starting hike with beautiful scenery of Gold Coast. We will defiantly be back for round two, stepping it up to the Warrie Circuit - shouldn't be too hard.

We will defiantly be
